What You Bring to the Table
- 5 years of business development, outside sales, or account management experience.
- Proven success selling commercial service or maintenance agreements.
- Fire protection industry experience is strongly preferred. Experience in HVAC, mechanical contracting, or construction is also valued.
- Knowledge of NFPA codes and life safety systems is a plus.
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and CRM proficiency.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Develop and execute business development strategies to grow revenue within the Fire Protection division.
- Prospect and secure new commercial customers through networking, referrals, cold calling, and industry events.
- Build lasting relationships with facility managers, property managers, building owners, contractors, engineers, municipalities, healthcare organizations, schools, and industrial clients.
- Promote our full range of fire protection services, including inspections, testing, preventive maintenance agreements, repairs, retrofits, upgrades, and new installations.
- Visit customer sites to identify deficiencies, evaluate needs, and recommend solutions.
- Prepare proposals and collaborate with estimating and operations teams to deliver customized service offerings.
- Maintain an active sales pipeline and accurately manage opportunities within the CRM.
- Partner closely with operations and service teams to ensure a seamless transition from sale to execution.
- Meet or exceed sales goals with a strong focus on recurring service agreement growth.
