Overview:
James Island Christian School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to serve as the Head JV Track & Field Coach. This position plays a key role in mentoring student-athletes and fostering an environment where athletic growth and Christian character development go hand in hand.

Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee all aspects of the JV Track & Field program, including practices, meets, and team events.
- Develop athletes' skills, conditioning, and understanding of the sport while emphasizing sportsmanship and teamwork.
- Collaborate with the Athletic Director to ensure program continuity and alignment with school values.
- Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and school staff regarding schedules, expectations, and team goals.
- Model Christ-like behavior in all interactions, serving as a spiritual and moral role model for student-athletes.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all team members during practices and competitions.
Qualifications:
- A committed follower of Jesus Christ who actively supports and upholds the mission, vision, and core values of James Island Christian School.
- Prior experience in coaching or competitive participation in Track & Field is preferred.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to motivate and mentor student-athletes in both athletic and personal development.
- Reliable and available for all practices, meets, and related team events.
- Must successfully pass a background check in accordance with school policy.
