Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and motivated Property & Casualty Insurance Producer to join our team in West Tennessee. This role offers an exciting opportunity to build strong client relationships, expand our market presence, and deliver tailored insurance solutions. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a passion for sales, and a solid understanding of property and casualty insurance products.
Duties
· Identify and develop insurance prospects in appropriate markets
· Respond to referrals quickly and effectively
· Prequalify insurance prospects for insurability and quality of risk
· Assist agency in creating and maintaining client or prospect lists
· Design insurance plans and recommend coverages to clients
· Survey loss exposures, needs, and possible uninsurable or difficult to insure exposures for clients
· Make sales presentations to prospective and existing clients on new and renewal business
· Complete and submit applications and related documentation to appropriate departments
· Develop, follow, and complete sales objectives
· Request binding of coverage and, where appropriate, deliver binders to insureds
· Educate clients concerning agency payment expectations and cancellation procedures
· Collect down payments (when required) from insureds for purchases of new and upgraded coverages and obtains signatures on all applications for insureds
· Notify clients of coverage limitations, reductions and binding restrictions, and documents explanations in file and agency management system to lower errors and omissions exposures
· Ask for referrals from insureds to help generate new business
· Explain coverages and exclusions and documents explanations in file and agency management system for future reference
