The Role
The company is seeking a Commissioning Engineer to lead commissioning and engineering projects from concept through construction.
- Lead commissioning and engineering projects.
- Manage project scope, schedules, and deliverables.
- Coordinate with clients, architects, contractors, and project teams.
- Lead commissioning of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and building systems.
- Conduct site visits, functional testing, troubleshooting, and field investigations.
- Support client relationships and business development.
- Mentor junior engineers and project staff.
- Travel: Approximately 25–50%, with projects across the US.
The Requirements
- Minimum 3 years' experience in MEP consulting, commissioning, or related engineering.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
- Experience with complex mechanical/building systems.
- Strong HVAC knowledge; plumbing/electrical experience beneficial.
- Project coordination or project management experience.
- Strong communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and directly with clients.
- PE, CxA, CxP, BCxP, or LEED credentials are preferred.
