The General Utility Worker is responsible for supporting hotel operations by maintaining cleanliness, assisting with maintenance, transporting supplies, and providing general assistance to various departments. This position plays a vital role in ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests and staff while supporting the overall efficiency of hotel operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables in designated areas.
-Assist with banquet setup and breakdown, including tables, chairs, linens, and equipment.
-Receive, stock, organize, and distribute inventory and supplies.
- Provide courteous and professional service when interacting with guests and coworkers.
- Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, equipment malfunctions, and guest room deficiencies to management.
- Perform basic preventative maintenance tasks as assigned.
- Replace light bulbs, batteries, air filters, and other routine consumable items.
- Assist with minor repairs to furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
- Maintain tools and equipment in a safe and organized manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support hotel operations and guest satisfaction.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
