Purpose of this job: The Presell Account Manager (PSAM) function is to increase product sales and placement. The primary role of the PSAM is to effectively upsell Quality points of distribution to include (Coolers, racks, shadow boxes, endcaps, and additional seasonal space).
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Managing, motivating and sharing best practices with the ASM’s.
- Leadership needed to build relationships and respect in the field.
- Manage Red Bull products and ensure full distribution.
- Determine current and ongoing product needs due to display pull through and Ad activity
- Ensure that all Red Bull equipment is clean and in good working order.
- Establish and maintain friendly and professional relationships with management teams to increase sales and selling space.
- Evaluate all competitors’ activities such as new launches and price reductions and communicate with Director of Key Accounts.
- Meet monthly key performance indicators (KPI‘s) focused on the following areas: sales, distribution, pricing, display, and merchandising components.
- Build and protect the Red Bull brand.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Must have a valid driver’s license or be able to obtain one within 15 days of hire.
- Clear background and drug test.
- Knowledge of the beverage market preferred.
- Preferred prior sales experience.
Requirements/Qualifications/Skills:
- 2 - 3 years proven sales experience (retail or consumer products preferred).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and logistics skills.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Current driver’s license with clean driving record.
Physical Requirements:
- Repeatedly lifting 10-25 pounds including overhead multiple times daily.
- Moving carts/dolly that weigh up to 75 pounds repeatedly on a daily basis.
- Pushing hand truck with up to 150 lbs. of weight on it multiple times daily.
- Prolonged periods of sitting while driving.
- Ability to stand and walk frequently.
- Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials.
- Work in both indoor and outdoor weather conditions.
- Must have a valid DOT certification.
