What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time Merchandiser position at JAMES EDWARD & COMPANIES GROUP?
**This is a PART TIME merchandiser position that will include working on the weekends. Employee will use their own vehicle to complete route and will be paid hourly plus mileage.
The Merchandiser role is responsible for building displays, according to schematics and standards. In addition, stocking shelves and cold boxes with Red Bull products and place point of sale materials in customer accounts within an assigned territory. This role also plays a vital role in the support of the Account Sales Manager (ASM).
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Merchandising of established territory.
- Merchandising cold equipment, wire racks, and all other display activity at store level.
- Monitor competitor activities including new product launches and price reductions.
- Responsible for delivery of cold equipment placements as directed by management.
- Must complete all invoicing procedures required by respective store and comply with all established paperwork/invoice procedures.
- Assist account sales manager with relative duties to large and small format accounts.
- Bring a sense of urgency and commitment along with desire to get things done.
- Maintain a high level of communication across the team.
- Ensure all equipment is clean and in good working order.
- Build and protect the Red Bull brand.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:Required Skills/Abilities:
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Good mathematical skills.
- Current driver’s license with clean driving record.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Microsoft Office Suite.
Physical Requirements:
- Repeatedly lifting 10-25 pounds including overhead multiple times daily.
- Moving carts/dolly that weigh up to 75 pounds repeatedly on a daily basis.
- Pushing hand truck with up to 150 lbs. of weight on it multiple times daily.
- Prolonged periods of sitting while driving.
- Ability to stand and walk frequently.
- Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials.
- Work in both indoor and outdoor weather conditions.
Education/Experience:
- High school graduate or equivalent work experience.
- Knowledge of the beverage market preferred.
- Preferred prior sales experience.
