Role Description The Commercial Lines Account Manager is a full-time, hybrid role based in Belmont, CA, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. This role manages a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, including policy servicing, renewals, endorsements, and coverage reviews. Responsibilities include responding to client inquiries, processing policy changes, preparing proposals, assisting with claims reporting, and coordinating with carriers and internal team members. The Account Manager will maintain accurate records in agency systems, proactively identify coverage gaps, and support the integration of employee benefits solutions where appropriate. The position requires consistent, professional communication with clients, underwriters, and colleagues to ensure high-quality service and retention of accounts.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated knowledge of Commercial Lines Coverage and related insurance products.
- Strong Account Management skills, including handling renewals, policy changes, and documentation.
- Proven Customer Service skills with the ability to address inquiries, resolve issues, and build long-term relationships.
- Familiarity with Construction risk for casualty, workers compensation, inland marine and commecial automobiles

- Solid understanding of Insurance principles, carrier requirements, and agency workflows.
- Proficiency with insurance agency management systems and standard office software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and organization.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Relevant insurance licenses (such as Property & Casualty) or willingness to obtain them within a defined timeframe.
- Prior experience in commercial lines account management or a similar insurance role is preferred.
