- Greet and check in patients, ensuring a warm and professional front-desk experience
- Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments using practice management software
- Verify patient insurance eligibility and process billing and co-pays accurately
- Maintain and update patient records, ensuring accuracy and HIPAA compliance
- Coordinate communication between patients and clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow
- Answer incoming calls, respond to patient inquiries, and follow up on appointment reminders
- Assist with optical dispensing support and frame selection coordination as needed
Requirements:
- Prior experience in a medical, dental, or optometry front office setting preferred
- Familiarity with insurance verification and medical billing processes
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first attitude
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) or practice management software
- Highly organized with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with accurate data entry and record-keeping abilities
