Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Director of Preconstruction located in Northbrook, IL. The Director of Preconstruction will oversee budgeting, design management, proposal development, construction planning, and project management activities. The role involves collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to develop strategies, ensure accuracy in project estimates, and drive effective implementation of Building Information Modeling (BIM) across projects.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Design Management and Building Information Modeling (BIM)
- Proficiency in Budgeting and financial planning for complex projects
- Experience with Proposal Writing and creating detailed project documentation
- Proven skills in Project Management, including scheduling and team collaboration
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and project teams
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field
- Familiarity with electrical systems and large-scale construction projects is a plus
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills
