Job Title: Inventory Control Expeditor | Driver

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Salary Range:$20.00-$22.00

Summary

Coordinate and expedite the flow of work and material within or between departments. Perform a variety of duties to acquire, inventory, and distribute parts, supplies, tools and documents used in daily operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following with other duties as assigned:

• Acquire and expedite materials on a daily basis while maintaining inventories of materials or supplies to meet production demands.
• Research receiving documents to determine proper delivery points.
• Arrange distribution of supplies or parts to expedite flow of materials to meet production schedule.
• Examine documents, materials, or products and monitor work processes to assess completeness, accuracy, and conformance to standards and specifications.
• Be proficient in driving company forklift, flatbed and box trucks as well as operating high lift pickers.
• Other duties as assigned

Other Requirement

This position requires you to drive a company vehicle and will require a clean driving record. As a pre-employment contingency and prior to being appointed in this role you will be required to present a Valid Washington State Driver’s license and may need to provide Jamco-America with a current driving record from the state of Washington’s Motor Vehicles office documenting your current driving record status within the past three years. Position may also require that you submit to periodic screening of your driving record.

Requirements:

Education and/or Experience:

Position requires the equivalent of high school diploma and minimum 3 years related experience.

Language Skill

• Ability to read and interpret documents such a safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers of employees of organization.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Possess the ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Customer Orientation

Must demonstrate concern and take actions to meet requirements and high standards of quality of both internal and external customers. Must display courtesy, manage difficult situations, meet commitments, respond promptly to customer needs and solicit customer feedback to improve service.
