Team Members are the face of the store — they take orders, make products, and make sure every guest leaves happy. They are responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment and for supporting the team so shifts run smoothly.
Typical duties include:
- Greeting guests warmly, taking accurate orders, and providing fast, friendly service on every transaction.
- Preparing and serving food and beverages to brand recipe, portioning, and presentation standards.
- Operating the point-of-sale (POS) system, handling cash and card payments accurately, and following proper cash-handling procedures.
- Keeping the store clean and sanitary throughout the shift — work stations, dining/counter areas, restrooms, and equipment — not just at closing.
- Following all food safety and handling standards, including proper storage, temperature, and hygiene practices.
- Restocking product, supplies, and ingredients as needed and helping with deliveries and inventory when asked.
- Fulfilling in-store, delivery, and catering orders (DoorDash, Grubhub, Uber Eats, ezCater) accurately and on time.
- Working as part of the team to keep the floor moving during rushes and supporting fellow Team Members and Shift Managers.
- Following all store policies, including the greeting protocol, idle-time expectations, and uniform/appearance standards.
- No prior experience required; previous customer service, food service, or retail experience is a plus.
- Must be at least 16 years old (or as required by applicable labor laws; some positions or hours may require 18 ).
- Able to follow directions, learn recipes and procedures quickly, and take feedback from Shift Managers and the GM.
- Friendly, guest-focused attitude with clear, courteous communication.
- Reliable and punctual, with availability that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays based on store/mall operating hours.
- Able to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment and stay composed during busy periods.
- Basic math and comfort operating a POS/register and handling cash.
- Willing to obtain a food handler certification if required by state or local law.
- Physically able to stand and move for the length of a shift, lift up to 25–50 lbs, and work around kitchen equipment, heat, and cold storage with frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive motion.
