Jamaica Hospital Medical Center & Jamaica Hospital Nursing Home – Queens, NY

Rate: $73/hr.

The Department of Rehabilitation at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center and the Jamaica Hospital Nursing Home offers advanced and personalized occupational therapy services to individuals with injuries to nerves, bones, or joints, as well as those suffering from acute or chronic pain syndromes.

Our team provides a comprehensive range of inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services, and is staffed by experienced therapists and physicians specializing in the treatment of:

Neuromuscular and musculoskeletal conditions
Traumatic brain and neurological injuries
Pain syndromes and physical disabilities
Duties:

  • Evaluate patients to establish individualized therapy plans
  • Administer therapeutic interventions and instruct patients on therapy activities
  • Collaborate with physical therapists and speech-language pathologists to implement comprehensive treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, progress, and treatment approaches in patient medical records
