What are the responsibilities and job description for the CDL Class A Driver/Laborer position at JAM Corporation?
JAM Corporation is seeking a CDL Driver. This position is responsible for transporting materials and heavy equipment between project sites, properly securing equipment for transport, and assisting the project foreman with on-site labor duties when driving work is not required.
Job Duties:
- Drivers are responsible for driving, controlling, and maintaining trucks with a Dump Body to transport and dump loose materials needed at various sites throughout Massachusetts.
- Driver will also be responsible for transporting heavy equipment between sites, and be capable of properly securing machines to trailers, and transporting machines is safe manner. Drivers must have knowledge of safety regulations, rules of the road, and abide by MADOT safety requirements.
- Drivers will be working in a fast-paced environment, and when the driver is not transporting materials, driver will assist project crew in various laborer duties
Requirements:
· Driver must hold valid Commercial Class A Drivers License
· Driver must have a Clean Driving Record
· Driver must have a 2 A / 1 C MA Hoisting License
· Driver must have MA DOT Medical Card
· Driver must have OSHA 10 Card/Certificate
· Driver can Drive various size Dump Trucks from Tri-Axle, 6 Wheeler, F550 with/ without Trailers in Tow
· Driver capable of securing Heavy Equipment and Safe Transport
Driver is responsible for Load Tickets / Inspection Paperwork Daily, giving to Project Manager at the end of each day

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
