School Van Driver

Join our team as a School Van Driver and become a vital part of ensuring safe, reliable transportation for students. As a School Van Driver, you will be responsible for transporting students in a professional and courteous manner, maintaining vehicle safety standards, and fostering a positive experience for young passengers. This paid position is perfect for individuals who are passionate about driving, enjoy working with children, and take pride in delivering dependable service. We follow the local school district calendars, you will have holidays and weekends off. This is a part time position. Hours may very between 6:00 am and 9:00 am and again from 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm. Hours may be adjusted due to student locations.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate school vans and shuttle vehicles on designated routes, adhering to traffic laws and safety protocols.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all students during transit by following established procedures and maintaining vigilance.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections, tire pressure, brakes, lights, and other essential systems; perform basic maintenance or report issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of daily routes, student attendance, and vehicle logs
• Provide excellent customer service by creating a friendly environment and responding professionally to parent inquiries.
• Must be reliable, show up on time
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with students, parents, and team members.
• Drive a company vehicle

Experience

• Previous shuttle driving or delivery driver experience is highly desirable.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Must have a Z endorsement
• Must pass random drug testing
• Must be able to pass a background check & Child registry
• Must be able to use a GPS & Follow written routes

Pay: From $17.25 per hour
