Blue Swell in Panama City Beach, FL is looking for a housekeeping supervisor to join our 35 person strong team. We are located on 17633 Ashley Dr Ste B. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, motivated, and reliable.
Responsibilities
- Manages, updates, inputs charges and closes out all housekeeping work orders in the system in a timely manner for month end processing.
- Organizes and assists in preparing annual inventory needs for budgetary purposes.
- Updates flat rate pricing sheet as needed for replacement items.
- Reconciles credit card expenditures monthly and submits to accounting departments.
- Prepares, enters and reconciles receipts in timely manner and distributes those weekly to Business Manager(s).
- Reconciles monthly inventory to housekeeping items with Warehouse Manager or Warehouse Coordinator. Enters inventory into property management software and updates monthly, dispersing to General Manager as needed.
- Reports guest damages to Property Manager and works to facilitate replacement items making sure Property Manager has addressed any necessary charges to guests.
- Maintains hard copy filing for all departure checklists, inventory checklists, annual PM maintenance checklists and scans and places all items on ICloud.
- Meets regularly with cleaners, cleaning vendors and supply vendors to make sure all company policies and procedures are followed. Holds full accountability for department at all times.
- Handles any verbal and written warnings for housekeeping team, up to and including termination.
- Strictly monitors budget expenditures and alerts department heads and General Manager in the event we are scheduled to exceed budget at any given time.
- Oversees payroll for housekeeping department for employees and vendors.
- Handles all vendor contracts and price negotiations for cleaning vendors. Makes sure all vendors are properly set up in software and all insurance and tax paperwork is completed and submitted to Business Manager.
- Handles setting up piece rates for on boarding of new properties.
- Schedules all cleaners, cleaning vendors and works to maintain the same individuals on each property to the best of their ability.
