Partial list of duties:
- Greet every visitor as a potential client and build rapport quickly to create leasing opportunities
- Confidently present and show apartments, highlighting features and value to drive interest and close leases
- Follow up diligently with prospects and applications to move deals forward and maximize occupancy
- Advertise and market apartments across multiple platforms to generate qualified leads
- Proactively handle tenant inquiries and issues with professionalism, empathy, and a solutions-oriented approach
- Maintain expert knowledge of available units, pricing, and market positioning to better “sell” the portfolio
- Protect and promote the company’s reputation within the community and industry
- Support the team with administrative tasks while always keeping leasing and deal-making as the top priority
Experience:
- Proven track record of success in leasing or sales (minimum 2 years)
- Strong closer with the ability to persuade, negotiate, and finalize deals with confidence
- Excellent communication and presentation skills. Able to “sell” both in person and over the phone
- Energetic, outgoing personality with a genuine enthusiasm for connecting with people
- Real estate background preferred, but high-level sales experience will be strongly considered
- Tech-savvy and comfortable using MS Office and online advertising platforms
- Professional, resilient, and able to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
Physical demands:
Will frequently have to climb stairs, travel between various properties in NYC and occasionally visually evaluate apartment/building physical needs. Frequently communicates with internal and external customers, regarding rental or business issues and must be able to exchange dialogue with customers clearly and accurately. Dexterity and coordination to handle files and single pieces of paper; occasional lifting items weighing up to (25) twenty-five pounds such as files, stacks of paper, reference and other materials. Moving from place to place within the office; minimum reaching for items above and below desk level. Strength, dexterity, coordination to use computer for prolonged periods.
Salary : $55,000 - $58,000
