What are the responsibilities and job description for the Host/ Food Runner position at Jakes Burgers and Beers?
Jakes is opening a BRAND NEW location in North Richland Hills, and we're hiring hosts and food runners for our opening team.
You're the first face guests see and the last smile on their way out. For a lot of people this will be their first time at Jakes, and you're the one who sets the tone for the whole visit. If you're warm, quick on your feet, and good with people, this is your spot.

Monday through Saturday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Walk in, meet a manager, and interview on the spot. Bring a valid ID.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Greet every guest warmly and sincerely, and get the door for them coming and going
- Seat guests and let their server know a new table just sat
- Run hot food to tables and the bar in order, with the right sides
- Keep the expo area and host stand clean and organized
- Know the menu so you can answer questions on the spot
- Handle your opening, running, and closing duties
- Sweep and mop as needed
- Jump in wherever the team needs a hand

No experience needed. We train you before you ever work a shift on your own.
