Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines and heavy machinery using schematics and mechanical knowledge.
- Perform maintenance on trucks, excavators, cranes, forklifts, and other industrial equipment.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding techniques to complete repairs.
- Read and interpret technical schematics and manuals.
- Conduct inspections to ensure safety standards are met.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Maintain detailed records of repairs and services performed.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and recommendations clearly.
Qualifications
- Proven experience with diesel engine repair, preferably in a dealership or heavy equipment environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to read schematics.
- Experience operating heavy machinery such as excavators, cranes, or forklifts.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
