Coach Glass is looking for a Supply Chain Planner who can work with our inventory team, while leveraging knowledge of the market to drive supplier performance. The right candidate will have some financial skill allowing them to cost model and perform make vs. buy analysis. As the Supply Chain Planner, you will employ your knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, shipping costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacturing and distribution of goods. What you’ll do:
The Supply Chain Planner ensures all materials are planned to meet the needs of our customers in our four distribution centers according to stocking levels for OE and Aftermarket business. Duties include but are not limited to: involvement in all aspects of materials flow, material planning, procurement, forecasting, and reporting for production, logistics and delivery to customers. This position requires collaboration between Purchasing, Sales, Logistics and Warehousing teams to meet our planning needs.

Qualifications:What you’ll need:
- 3 -5 years progressive experience in management of materials, sourcing and import/export rules and regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience in lean or six sigma preferred
- APICS certification preferred
- Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems.
- Require pre-employment drug test and background check.
- Must be able to occasionally work long hours during weekdays and weekends.
- Ability to travel, when needed, both domestically and internationally.
