About the Role:

As a Bartender in Pittsburgh, you will play a crucial role in creating an exceptional guest experience by expertly preparing and serving a wide variety of beverages in a fast-paced environment. Your primary goal is to ensure customer satisfaction through attentive service, accurate order taking, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area. You will engage with patrons to provide recommendations, handle transactions efficiently, and uphold all safety and sanitation standards. This role requires a balance of technical drink-making skills and interpersonal communication to foster a welcoming atmosphere. Minimum Qualifications:

• Legal age to serve alcohol in the state of Pennsylvania.
• Previous experience as a bartender or in a customer service role within a hospitality environment.
• Basic knowledge of drink recipes and bar equipment operation.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., TIPS or ServSafe Alcohol).
• Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems and cash handling.
• Knowledge of craft cocktails and mixology techniques.
• Ability to multitask effectively in a high-volume setting.
• Bilingual skills or additional language proficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standardized recipes and customer preferences.
• Greet customers warmly, take drink orders, and provide recommendations based on customer tastes and current promotions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including restocking supplies and cleaning glassware and utensils.
• Handle cash and electronic transactions accurately, ensuring proper billing and change.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and legal regulations related to alcohol service, including checking identification to verify legal drinking age.
• Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth service flow and resolve any customer concerns promptly and professionally.
