Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing the machinery and equipment across our manufacturing facilities, ensuring smooth operations and minimal downtime. Your expertise will help uphold our commitment to quality, sustainability, and operational excellence.
Duties
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including hydraulics, electrical systems, and mechanical components.
- Troubleshoot and repair complex machinery using schematics, technical manuals, and analysis skills.
- Operate and maintain programmable logic controllers (PLCs), industrial electricians' tools, and precision measuring instruments to diagnose issues accurately.
- Conduct welding HVAC/R repairs, and low/high voltage electrical work to restore equipment functionality.
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to document maintenance activities, work orders, and equipment history.
- Assist with field service operations, including working on scissor lifts and other industrial equipment in manufacturing settings.
- Support safety protocols by inspecting high voltage systems, using ammeters and ohmmeters, and adhering to OSHA standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an industrial mechanic within a manufacturing facility environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in maintenance of industrial machinery.
- Proficiency in electrical systems including low voltage, high voltage, and industrial electrician skills.
- Familiarity with schematics, analysis tools, and troubleshooting techniques for hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.
- Ability to operate field service equipment such as scissor lifts safely.
- Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), CMMS software, HVAC/R systems, welding (welding preferred), and precision measuring instruments.
- Excellent communication skills in English for effective teamwork and customer service interactions.
