Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive cosmetology services such as hair styling, coloring, extensions, and straight razor shaves with precision and creativity.
• Deliver advanced skincare treatments including dermabrasion, esthetic laser therapy, dermal fillers, botulinum toxin treatments, and body waxing to enhance clients’ natural beauty.
• Apply makeup for special occasions and provide personalized consultations to help clients achieve their desired looks.
• Manage salon software systems like Millennium and MINDBODY for appointment scheduling, client records, and retail sales tracking.
• Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by cleaning tools and workstations in compliance with health regulations.
• Offer expert advice on hair care products through product demos and upselling techniques to boost retail sales.
• Provide exceptional guest services by listening attentively to client needs, communicating clearly, and ensuring a memorable experience from start to finish.

Requirements

• Valid state-issued cosmetology license with experience in hair styling, coloring, and treatments such as hair extensions or threading.
• Proficiency in using salon management software like Millennium and MINDBODY for scheduling and client management.
• Strong knowledge of current beauty trends including makeup application, eyelash extensions, nail care, and barbering techniques like straight razor shaves.
• Experience with advanced procedures such as dermal fillers, Botox treatments, esthetic laser therapy, tattooing (if applicable), and deep tissue massage is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills paired with a friendly attitude to foster positive guest interactions.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of sanitation and safety.
