Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Serve food and drinks promptly, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages
- Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and digital payments
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations
- Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff as needed
- Upsell menu items including specialty drinks and desserts to enhance guest satisfaction and sales
- Manage reservations through platforms like OpenTable and coordinate seating arrangements
- Ensure guest relations are positive by addressing inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally
Requirements
- Previous food service experience in restaurants or hospitality environments is preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
- Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Ability to process cash transactions accurately and handle basic math calculations
- Understanding of food safety standards and sanitation practices in the food industry
- Experience with fine dining service or upscale restaurant environments is a plus
- Open availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
