Primary responsibilities will include :
- Proficiency in the software needed for Jahn to execute work, including but not limited to Revit, Rhino, Enscape, AutoCAD, Photoshop, InDesign, and Bluebeam.
- Proficient in 3D imaging and assembling presentations.
- Work directly with a Managing Director on concept designs and project development initiatives for diverse typologies, including complex projects.
- Work closely with the model shop in the development of project designs.
- Work directly with a Director and Senior Associate in the preparation of Schematic Design, Design Development, and Contract Documents.
- Project site visits where convenient and practical, including the preparation of punch lists for completed parts of a project.
- Undertake research for materials, new assemblies, and building systems.
- Expected to participate in office-sponsored professional events such as Lunch & Learns.
- Expected to participate in events sponsored by AIA Chicago and the Chicago Architecture Center.
