About Jaguar Gymnastics:
We are a non-profit gymnastics program based out of Jefferson High School in Bloomington, MN. We are committed to fostering confidence, coordination, and fun through movement. Our recreational classes emphasize skill development, safety, and positive coaching. If you love kids, enjoy moving, and being active in your job while having a ton of fun, you may be the person we are looking for!
We are currently looking for part-time staff for Monday – Thursday evening classes between the hours of 5-8pm for our winter session (December – mid-February). Work as little as one day a week doing something fun to supplement your income!
Responsibilities:
- Lead engaging gymnastics classes for preschool, beginner, and intermediate levels
- Demonstrate and teach age-appropriate skills
- Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all participants
- Provide positive feedback and encouragement to build self-esteem
- Assist with class setup, equipment checks, and facility cleanliness
- Staff assignments are based on previous experience, recommendations and current readiness
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in gymnastics / dance / cheer (as a coach, athlete, or assistant) preferred, but we are also willing to train the right candidate - aka, someone who loves kids!
- Passion for working with children and fostering a positive learning environment
- Strong communication and group management skills
- Knowledge of safe teaching progressions and techniques
- Exhibit behavior that exemplifies the highest professional, ethical, and moral standards
- Prompt, regular, reliable attendance.
- Flexible hours Monday-Thursday evenings. Work as little as one night a week for only 2-3 hours
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 2 – 10 per week
