As our Senior Accountant - Accounting Manager, you'll operate as the owner of the month-end, coordinating inputs, posting accurate journal entries, validating accruals, and maintaining a precise general ledger that tells the right story every time. You'll supervise AP/AR clerk(s) with a balance of oversight and coaching, ensure reconciliations are timely and complete, and prepare financial statements that translate seamlessly into leadership reporting. Partnering with the CFO, you'll refine metrics and forecasting, improve processes that reduce friction and errors, and elevate the accounting function into a smooth, repeatable machine.

- 5 years of accounting experience (public or private)
- Full month-end close experience
- General ledger and reconciliation experience
- Strong technical accounting knowledge
- Job costing knowledge
- GAAP familiarity
- Proficiency with accrual accounting and revenue recognition fundamentals
- Industry experience in service, construction, or trades
- Supervisory experience (managing 1–3 people)
- Experience training junior staff
- Work-in-progress (WIP) accounting experience
- Field payroll familiarity
- Job costing and labor burden allocation knowledge
- A process improvement mindset
