What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physical Therapist Assistant position at JAG Physical Therapy?
Job Summary:
A compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant is needed to provide treatment and manual techniques under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
The ideal candidate will manage a full caseload, complete documentation required for patient care, and maintain a high level of professionalism in a fast-paced outpatient environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide safe, effective, and compliant PT interventions
- Manage and delegate to support staff as needed for patient care
- Complete documentation of notes in WebPT EMR in a timely manner
- Maintain state-regulated CEU requirements for PTA license
- Attend annual JAG PT Billing/Coding seminar
- Assist with cleanliness and organization of facility
- Educate the surrounding community through lectures/presentations
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required; Physical Therapy Assistant degree preferred
- Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant
- Experience/knowledge with an EMR software preferred
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work as a team member and individually with minimal supervision
