About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated Physical Therapist Aide to join our team in the Health Care Services industry. As a Physical Therapist Aide, you will be responsible for assisting our licensed Physical Therapists in providing high-quality care to our patients. Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a Physical Therapist Aide training program
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Physical stamina and strength to assist patients with mobility
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working as a Physical Therapist Aide
- Certification as a Physical Therapist Aide
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
- Experience working with electronic medical records
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
Responsibilities:
- Assist Physical Therapists in providing care to patients
- Help patients with exercises and stretches
- Prepare treatment areas and equipment for patient use
- Clean and maintain equipment and treatment areas
- Document patient progress and report to Physical Therapists
Skills:
As a Physical Therapist Aide, you will use your excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and healthcare professionals. You will also use your physical stamina and strength to assist patients with mobility and perform other physical tasks.
