*** This is a remote position. ***Salary Range: $95K base salaryMust Reside in the U.SPRIMARY FUNCTION:Responsible for FP&A and business support related to sales, gross margin and obsolescence as it related to actual, budget and forecast reporting. Work closely with Marketing to provide analysis and support related to S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning), gross margin, inventory and inventory obsolescence. Responsible for product line reporting and analysis related to actual, budget, and forecast. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Develop new methods for presenting meaningful analysis and financial information to management, utilizing statistical analysis and graphic presentation techniquesProvide analysis of the sales distribution (product line categories, vehicle of sale, sales by state, etc.), gross margin, and obsolescence for actual results, budget and forecast projectionsPrepare financial models to help identify potential risks and opportunities compared to budget and forecastRecommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analysisIncrease productivity by developing automated processesWork closely with Marketing and provide analysis to support strategies to reduce the overall inventory balances and obsolescencePrepare and book necessary journal entries related to sales, gross margin and obsolescenceComplete assigned sections of the Worldwide reporting package, Internal reporting and reporting to the DSA (Direct Sales Industry)Compile all required data and provide information to support both internal and external auditsMaintain product line database and insure accuracy of system and product line reportingProvide required input for monthly logistics reportingInsure that the inventory obsolescence is accurately stated and in compliance with the current policyEnsures that management is kept informed of all decisions which affect the financial objective of the businessReview and approve purchase order requests for sales aids and premium itemsPrepare and route for approval inventory dump ITD'sAll other duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION: B.S.
