Job Responsibilities:
- Manage a job from start to finish. Including measuring (job site visits), designing, selling and ordering. You are the dependable point of contact throughout the project
- Field measure to obtain accurate measurements
- Greet customers and determine their needs & wants to design their dream kitchen
- Work closely with homeowners and contractors to bring their vision to life
- Design custom kitchens, baths, bars, offices, etc. to meet the needs of the client
- Create detailed & beautiful renderings of the kitchen to share with the clients
- Present design proposals and pricing with confidence
- Manage your own projects and all necessary paperwork
- Build & maintain relationships with customers, contractors, builders and interior designers/decorators
- Manage the showroom, including ordering samples, literature, designing & ordering displays
- Maintain knowledge of our product offerings
- Keeping up with industry trends, new products and design innovations

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Kitchen designer - required
- Knowledge and love of the Kitchen & Bath industry a must
- Past sales experience required
- NKBA Kitchen Design Certification (CKD, CKBD or CMKBD) a plus
- Proficient with 20-20 design software – required
- Experience with SketchUp a plus
- Experience reading and working with architectural plans
- Demonstrate excellent communication, listening & organizational skills
- Excellent customer service & interactive skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
- Strong math and computer skills
- Experience with Bistrack a plus
- Ability to inspire & guide clients
- Working on Saturday - required
Only applicants with the required experience will be considered.
This is a commissioned position with unlimited earning potential. Most of our designers earn well over $60,000. Our tops designers earn over $100,000 per year. First year income is guaranteed. Our designers work 5 days a week, including Saturday (with one day off during the week).
