Jaeger Overhead Door is actively seeking a Full-Time Garage Door Installer to work in our Union NJ location. The successful candidate will be trained to install and/or repair garage doors and successfully identify opportunities to provide customers with products and services.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Install new garage doors and openers, and repair existing ones
• Responsible for tracking and maintaining job related paperwork and submitting in a timely manner.
• Ability to self-start and work independently
• Manage customer service issues by communicating with customers and Jaeger management throughout the process.
• Ensure installations meet industry standards and safety regulations
• At all times, maintain a positive, professional approach when relating to customers and co-workers
• Perform other duties assigned by management

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years’ experience in a construction related industry
• Good Mechanical Skills and the ability to safely operate power tools
• Carpentry skills a plus
• Valid driver’s license, with minimal to no infractions
• High School diploma or GED required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Neat appearance and a good attitude
• Ability to adhere to scheduling and attendance requirements
• Ability to interface with individuals with diverse backgrounds at varying levels of the organization

Physical Demands/Abilities:

• Ability to perform heavy lifting as required
• Measuring areas, objects, openings, etc.…. as needed.
• Bending, reaching, and lifting

Pay: Commensurate with experience

Expected hours: 40 – 45 hours a week

No Nights

Weekends as needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
