Jaeger Lumber is proudly serving New Jersey’s finest contractors and home owners since 1937 for all of their construction and remodeling needs. We are a full-service provider of lumber and building products. Currently we are looking for a Full Time Merchandiser to join out team. This position is a great opportunity for someone who has a positive attitude, and a bright/energetic approach. Should be experienced in windows computing and have a familiarity with Microsoft office.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers in the store or over the phone helping to determine needs
- Maintain a high level of product knowledge of all stock materials that are sold at the store location
- Monitor stock levels, restock shelves and rotate inventory
- Process returns or damaged goods to ensure consistent product availability
- Design and layout displays
- Review data, and track trends
- Track and follow up on existing orders and quotes
- Provide exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction and retention.

Experience:
- Building Materials: 2 years (Preferred)
- Sales: 1 year (Preferred)
Must be a team player and have a strong work ethic.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
