Founded in 2014, we’ve grown into a 18-person team with a strong project portfolio including commercial and federal work. We’re scaling fast and building the infrastructure to match and that starts with sharp people in key roles.
The RoleWe’re hiring an Electrical Estimator who will fully own our bid pipeline. From initial takeoff to post-submission follow-up.
This is not a support role. You’ll be responsible for managing bids independently, maintaining accurate forecasting and clear pipeline visibility, and operating within our estimating SOP without reminders, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
What You’ll Own
- Completing detailed takeoffs (labor, material, and scope) for commercial and government projects
- Managing and maintaining an accurate, real-time bid pipeline at all times
- Driving consistent follow-up with general contractors and project owners
- (95% compliance expected)
- Preparing clear, professional proposals with defined inclusions and exclusions
- Forecasting bid outcomes with reliable probability and award timing accuracy
- Escalation of bids over $100K or strategic risk per internal process
What Success Looks Like
- Bids are submitted on time, complete, and clearly defined
- Pipeline data is always current and decision ready
- Follow-ups are consistent and proactive (no missed opportunities)
- Forecasting aligns closely with actual outcomes
What We’re Looking For
- 3–5 years of electrical estimating experience, commercial or government preferred
- Strong ability to read and interpret electrical plans and specifications
- Disciplined follow-through, you don’t let bids fall through the cracks
- Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of outcomes
- Forecast accuracy within ±10–15% on awarded work
- Experience with estimating software a plus
- Electrical field background a plus but not required
Compensation
- $25–$30/hr based on experience and demonstrated ownership
