What are the responsibilities and job description for the Recycling Specialist position at JADO Recycling?
- No experience needed. Training will be provided.
- Veterans & Second Chance recipients encouraged to apply.
- Record production data of recycled material
- Sort recyclable material by type into appropriate bins in compliance with laws, regulations and policies.
- Identifies and distinguishes CRV recyclables from non-CRV recyclables. May include sorting through materials in bins to view and recognize type and to inspect.
- Ensure customers print and sign their names on all receipts and are paid correctly.
- Abides by company policies and procedures and state and local regulations
- Clean work areas
- Work under pressure, handle stressful situations and maintain flexibility.
- Ability to maintain high levels of activity or productivity over extended periods of time.
- Ability to understand safety rules
- Ability to communicate effectively with peers, supervisors, and customers.
- Ability to lift 10-25 pounds
- Locations: San Jose, Hayward, Redwood City, and Alameda
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $25.00 per hour
Schedule:
