Job Summary
We are Pan Asia restaurant located in a busy neighborhood, looking for hard working, positive attitude, team oriented members.
Our restaurant next to bus and T station.
Duties
- Greet guests promptly and warmly
- Take accurate orders using POS. ensuring special requests are noted and communicated clearly
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Manage tables effectively by bussing, resetting, and assisting with guest needs throughout their visit
- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems, including cash handling and basic math calculations
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards by adhering to proper food handling procedures and sanitation protocols
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any issues promptly
- Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing concerns professionally and ensuring overall satisfaction
- Assist with opening or closing duties as needed, including setting up or cleaning dining areas
Experience
- Previous restaurant experience is highly preferred, but not required.
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Experience in food service roles that involve serving, bussing, or host/hostess responsibilities is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests in fast-paced environments
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices within the food industry
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic math skills for cashiering, cash handling, and calculating bills accurately
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $25.00 - $75.00 per hour
