Gallerist- LA & OC

Founded in 2014 by Jerome Jacques Marie Mage, Jacques Marie Mage is a Los Angeles-based producer of limited-edition designer goods specializing in the micro-production of luxury eyewear for a clientele of discerning tastes.

With each new collection, JMM embraces a unique palette of precious materials, rich colors, and striking geometric forms, which cleverly reference and beautifully reconfigure the striking individuals, artistic movements, and world events of previous centuries. All JMM eyewear is ethically sourced and produced with the utmost respect for industry partners' environment and wellbeing.

Role Overview:

As the Jacques Marie Mage Gallerist, reporting to the Gallery Director, you are a reflection of the brand at the highest level of direct client engagement. The aim is to create an escape from the mundane and welcome clients into the unique and intentional world of Jacques Marie Mage. Through the delivery of the client experience and storytelling you will ensure each client leaves our Galleries in awe remembering the way we made them feel.  We have openings in our Venice, Costa Mesa, and Pacific Palisades Galleries.

Your responsibilities are – but are not limited to:

• Achieve sales targets through consistent delivery of the Client Experience 

• Storytell to submerge the client into the unique and intentional world of JMM

• Adhere to Policy and Procedures

OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE 

• All hands on deck mentality to foster teamwork

• Maintain and elevate operational processes

CLIENT EXPERIENCE 

• Deliver consistently elevated client experience 

• Establish and maintain a strong client book >30% appointments 

• Consistently achieve KPI’s

• Consistently represent the brand at the highest level

PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE

• Consistently be the expert in product knowledge

• Share brand stories and highlight product details 

Key Requirements:

• 2 years retail experience

• Experience in a luxury environment 

• Proficient in Excel, Powerpoint, Microsoft Word, and Shopify

• Impeccable speaking and communication skills

• Maintains an entrepreneurial spirit and mentorship mentality 

• Ability to work under pressure and multitask

• Experience working in a client based business 

• ABOC License is a plus
