Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate, highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and detailed health histories to inform personalized care plans.
- Administer medications and injections accurately, including IV infusions and medication management in accordance with physicians’ orders and safety protocols.
- Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic, to document patient information meticulously and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Perform specialized procedures such as suturing, catheterization (including urinary and vascular), and sterile dressing changes following aseptic techniques.
- Manage acute pain through appropriate interventions and monitor patients with a variety of needs.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams with skilled, non-skilled patients and out patients.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, medication administration, discharge planning, and lifestyle modifications to promote ongoing wellness.
Experience
- Proven experience in diverse healthcare environments including hospital medicine, emergency medicine, or outpatient clinics.
- Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic.
- Prior roles involving acute care experience including trauma medicine is a plus.
- Strong foundation in medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, physiology understanding, and patient assessment techniques essential for delivering high-quality nursing care across various specialties.
