Delivery / Warehouse Worker
Jacobsen Appliance is looking for a dependable, hardworking Delivery/Warehouse Worker to join our team.
This position includes delivering household appliances, loading and unloading trucks, and helping maintain an organized warehouse.
Responsibilities
- Deliver appliances to customers’ homes safely and professionally
- Load and unload refrigerators, ranges, washers, dryers, dishwashers, and other appliances
- Assist with basic appliance installation and removal of old appliances
- Keep the warehouse clean, safe, and organized
- Carefully handle merchandise to prevent damage
- Protect customers’ homes and property during deliveries
- Complete required delivery paperwork and photos
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery truck
- Assist with other warehouse and store duties as needed
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record
- Drug free
- Dependable and punctual
- Able to safely lift and move heavy appliances with assistance and proper equipment
- Comfortable with physical work throughout the day
- Professional and courteous with customers
- Able to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Delivery, moving, warehouse, or appliance experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person
