We're looking for a Senior Systems Integration Engineer in Portland, OR who is excited about working on projects that enable the heart of our clients’ business. Join us and you’ll have the chance to work on projects including state of the art industrial and commercial facilities.
In this role, you will be accountable for schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks, as you gain familiarity with the client’s expectations, scope, budget, and schedule. You’ll provide on-site assistance during startup, coordinate work activities with other staff members and the discipline lead. You will also work in a team environment along with engineers and project managers to solve complex systems integration solutions in a timely and satisfactory manner.
In addition, you will provide support on system integration projects and new upgrades, developing PLC code, producing SCADA graphics, and interacting with clients and trade contractors. You’ll have the chance to utilize your technical expertise to mentor other professionals, helping your team discover what drives them, nurturing their purpose and guiding them forward.

Here's what you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience
- At least 4 years of experience working with systems integration or Instrumentation and Control (I&C)
- Working knowledge of Allen-Bradley ControlLogix PLC (RSLogix 5000 and StudioLogix), GE Cimplicity and FactoryTalk configuration
- At least 4 years of PLC Programming, testing, and plant commissioning experience with process control systems in critical plant environments
- At least 2 years of experience in the semiconductor industry
- Ability to work onsite in west Portland, OR
- At least 10 years of experience in various aspects of industrial automation, instrumentation, electrical power, and building automation system design
- Certified Automation Professional (CAP)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Forward thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute with innovative ideas
- Displayed ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams
