The J Resort is a full-service hotel-casino with over 500 rooms and wide variety of Slots and Table Games. Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:
- Demonstrate a Guest-first mindset by placing a high priority on the Guest experience
- Knowledge of and ability to adhere to safety and security procedures; reports potentially unsafe conditions; uses equipment and materials properly
- Adhere to all property appearance and uniform standards
- Maintain an open line of vertical and horizontal communication with staff and Management
- Effectively communicate with our Guests and other Team Members
- Stay calm under pressure and demonstrate problem-solving skills
- Ensure all food and beverages are served promptly, garnished correctly, and meet the J Resort standard of excellence
- Assist servers with table maintenance, clearing, marking, and beverage service
- Perform all opening, side work, and closing duties
- Be knowledgeable of all menu items, ingredients, preparation methods
- Deliver quality food to guests and communicate frequently with both Front of House and Back of house team members
- Ensure guest satisfaction with food quality and presentation
- Clear and wipe down tables, chairs, booths, ensure floor is clear of debris after each guest departs
- Reset tables for next guest according to department standards
- Empties trash, collects and turns in linens
- Inform management of any equipment or facility repairs in a timely manner
- Keep all surfaces, equipment, and floors free of food and debris
- Maintains general cleanliness of the work area
Skills, Education and Other Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Work Experience
- Identification that establishes identity
- Identification that establishes the right to work in the United States
