Jacobs Entertainment is currently in search of a “Hotel Sales Manager” for Gold Dust West Carson City. This property features 148 modern hotel rooms and suites, a 32-lane Bowling Center with full Snack Bar, an RV Park, full-service Sports Book the ever-popular Grille Restaurant.

Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to promote hotel sales and banquets.
- Meet or exceed established revenue and room night goals for hotel group bookings.
- Stay in contact with hotel group leaders throughout their stay and handle any issues that may arise.
- Conduct on-site property visits and must have the ability to travel out of state for site visits, attend trade shows, and participate in networking events.
- Ensure smooth and efficient collaboration and communication with all appropriate operating and marketing departments.
- Maintain all hotel contact records in the hotel property management system.
- Maximize occupancy and ADR
- Have ability to work flexible hours
- Have ability to travel out of market to meet with current and prospective clients as well as meeting planners
- Maintain records off all sales leads
- General administration for meetings, conferences, and wedding groups
Skills, Education and Other Requirements:
- Must be fluent in English
- Must have strong guest service, communication, and proven decision-making skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Computer skills mandatory
- Ability to work autonomously and function independently (within JEI / GDW parameters)
- Ability to network and develop strong relationships
- Positive attitude and outgoing personality
- Minimum of 5 years Hotel Sales experience
- Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Marketing or related field is preferred, but work experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree
