We are looking for an experienced Design Project Manager. As a key member of the team, you’ll be leading a multidiscipline design team to complete tasks within established schedules, budgets and help advance our business development plan for growth, as well as utilizing your experience to execute project strategies. You will be responsible for overall project delivery on multiple project assignments. You’ll play an integral role in engaging between project client, architect of record, general contractor, among others. Your leadership skills will be key in fostering collaborative communications and building relationships.
Primary Responsibilities:
Oversees and develops scope, budget and schedules for projects that support the client's needs.
Closely interacts with the client regarding the development, implementation, and coordination of complex facilities projects.
Directs and supervises staff and project design consultants related to design, functionality, operational feasibility, and regulatory compliance.
Coordinates the design, from an airport operational and phasing perspective, with client stakeholders, staff, and tenants.
Supervises the preparation of contract documents with a goal of minimizing operational impacts.
Liaises with internal and external airport stakeholders during the planning and design phase of each project.
Creates presentations and holds project team meetings with stakeholders during the design process, as well as keeps stakeholders updated and informed as the project moves through both the design and construction phase of the project.
Coordinates with tenants during construction regarding impacts to their operation and with Authority construction personnel to minimize such operational impacts.
Directs and supervises project design consultants in the preparation of design drawings, specifications, cost estimates and schedules.
Coordinates and establishes effective working relationships with other client departments.
Coordinates with governmental and permitting/code agencies and assists in design administration duties.

Here's what you'll need
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
Substantial years of experience in program, project, design, and/or construction management functions with at least 5 years of this experience working in similar roles at airports
Experience as a client facing Design Project Manager managing multiple disciplines
Demonstrated design and project management experience within the Aviation sector
Experience leading design teams in a variety of contract types
Strong technical background in various disciplines associated with the design of airport facilities
Ideally, You’ll Also Have:
Master’s degree
Professional Registration (PE)
Project Management Institute (PMI) Certification

The base salary range for this position is $150,000.00 to $180,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
