The role requires a Bachelor's degree, strong analytical and leadership skills, and often a CPA designation. Key responsibilitiesFinancial statement and tax preparation: Prepare and review financial statements, tax returns (corporate, personal, trust), and other regulatory filings for clients.Client support: Act as a primary point of contact for clients, providing support with accounting and bookkeeping needs.Account analysis and management: Analyze financial data, oversee accounts payable and receivable, perform reconciliations, and manage the general ledger.Audit and compliance: Assist with client audits and ensure all financial records and reporting comply with standards like GAAP and relevant regulations.Forecasting and reporting: Prepare financial reports, forecasts, and projections to help clients understand their financial health and make strategic decisions.Mentorship: Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, serving as a liaison between them and management. Qualifications and skillsEducation: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
