Jacobs and Diemer is hiring. The feverish pace of jury trials coupled with an expanding insurance coverage practice put us in the position of needing to add one attorney – possibly a second, if the fit is right - to join our growing boutique appellate firm in downtown Detroit. All inquiries will be kept in strict confidence.
Our firm does not have in-house trial attorneys. Every appeal comes from the outside which means no two cases are the same. We handle matters ranging from auto negligence, medical malpractice, wrongful death, commercial and insurance coverage disputes, to constitutional and section 1983 claims. Our diverse set of civil defense clients includes individuals, small businesses, utilities, municipalities, insurance carriers and publicly traded companies.

We are focused on finding the right fit. An attorney who recently passed the bar exam will be considered as will a lateral partner with 10 years of experience. The only non-negotiables are the candidate must have strong research and writing skills and a strong work ethic to meet the demands of the job.
