We are searching for a Top Secret cleared Database Administrator (Senior) to join our team in Washington, DC.
You will be working in an organization that’s mission is to accelerate operations through data and new analytical insights. The entire section leverages agile and works to provide the entire enterprise with tools and applications to assist with operational data discovery, data exploitation, data analytics, and data visualization tools. The section works closely with the entire enterprise to ensure its applications and tools meet or exceed the needs of the mission.
The Database Administrator (Senior) is a part of a team that will lead large scale data analysis projects to designs and delivers on premises and cloud-based applications. The Database Administrator (Senior) is responsible to design, implement, and maintain moderately complex databases. You will maintain database dictionaries and integration of systems through database design. The Database Administrator (Senior) will administer and test computer databases, applying knowledge of database management systems. You will coordinate changes to computer databases and may plan, coordinate, and implement security measures to safeguard computer databases.
Responsibilities:
Designs, implements, and maintains moderately complex databases. Maintains database dictionaries and integration of systems through database design. Administer and test computer databases, applying knowledge of database management systems. Coordinate changes to computer databases. May plan, coordinate, and implement security measures to safeguard computer databases.
Possesses and applies a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments. Plans and leads major technology assignments. Evaluates performance results and recommends major changes affecting short-term project growth and success. Functions as a technical expert across multiple project assignments. May supervise others. Minimum of 8 years’ experience recommended. In absence of years of experience, certifications or past work may be used to show the level of experience needed to perform at this level.
Requirements:
- Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
- Minimum 10 years of experience with 6 years of related technical specialized experience
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, Business or other related field
o In absence of degree, additional years of experience may be substituted for educational requirements
