Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable, hardworking CDL Class A Driver & Excavation Laborer to join our team. This is a dual-role position. You will be responsible for safely transporting heavy machinery, materials, and equipment to and from active construction zones, as well as working alongside our ground crew.
When you are not behind the wheel, you will be expected to actively participate in ground labor and excavation prep. The ideal candidate possesses a clean New York commercial driving record and is not afraid to jump in the trenches to get the job done.
Key Responsibilities
- Commercial Driving: Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles, including dump trucks, triaxles, and heavy equipment trailers (lowboys).
- Equipment Hauling: Secure, load, and unload heavy excavation machinery (such as mini-excavators, skid steers, and backhoes) following all safety protocols.
- Material Management: Haul, dump, and track materials like gravel, dirt, asphalt, and stone, managing vendor tickets accurately.
Qualifications & Requirements
- License: Valid New York State CDL Class A license with a clean driving record (MVR check required).
- Certifications: Current DOT Medical Card required.
- Screening: Must be able to pass a pre-employment DOT drug screening and background check.
