What are the responsibilities and job description for the Seasonal Pest Control Technician position at Jacob's Beekeeping & Removal LLC?
Jacob’s Beekeeping & Removal LLC is hiring a Seasonal Pest Control Technician for the busy pest control season.
This position will mainly involve yellow jackets, hornets, wasps, general pest control, exterior spraying, inspections, and customer service.
We are looking for someone dependable, hard-working, professional, and comfortable working outdoors in the heat around stinging insects.
Duties
Drive to jos sites
Inspectecting and using basic tools.
Communicate with customers professionally
Take photos and complete job notes
Follow company procedures and pesticide training directions
Keep equipment and vehicle organized
Schedule
Monday through Saturday, with some longer days during peak season. Applicants should be available to be on-site as early as 7:00 AM and work until around 6:00 PM. Some Saturday availability may be needed.
Requirements
Valid driver’s license with clean record
Reliable and punctual
Able to work outdoors in heat and humidity
Able to lift, bend, walk, climb, and work on your feet
Comfortable around stinging insects
Able to wear PPE/protective gear
Able to use a smartphone for job notes/photos
Professional with customers
Willing to learn
Experience is helpful but not required. We can train the right person.
Pay: $15.00 - $23.00 per hour
