We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Concrete Foreman to lead and oversee concrete construction projects on-site. This role is vital in ensuring that all concrete-related activities are executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. As a Concrete Foreman, you will coordinate teams, manage schedules, and ensure compliance with project specifications and safety regulations. Responsibilities
- Supervise and direct concrete crews on construction sites, ensuring work is completed according to plans, schematics, and specifications
- Coordinate daily work schedules, manage resources, and monitor progress to meet project deadlines
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide construction activities accurately
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols by enforcing OSHA standards and maintaining a safe work environment at all times
- Oversee procurement of materials as necessary
- Maintain detailed documentation of daily activities, including quality checks, and progress reports
Skills
- Extensive construction site experience with a strong background in concrete work and supervision
- Skilled in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating techniques
- Knowledge of project scheduling principles and management practices to ensure timely project completion
- Excellent supervision skills with the ability to lead teams effectively while fostering a safety-first culture
- Ability to operate equipment like skidsteers and excavators
- Competence in using construction management tools for tracking progress, managing resources, and reporting outcomes
Preferred Skills/ Knowledge
- 3-5 years Concrete Management Experience
- Reliable Transportation
- Experience operating Skid steer / Excavator
- Drivers License
- Experience towing heavy equipment (CDL preferred, not required)
Operating Hours
6:30AM- 5PM
