Jacksonville Orthopaedic Institute is looking to hire a Practice Manager to join our team at the San Marco office.

The Practice Manager is responsible for the administrative and daily operations of the clinic. This position requires excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills to ensure high-quality patient care..JOI San Marco has 8 physicians, 6 mid-levels, and 40 staff members.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations to ensure clinic runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Provide leadership to physicians and staff in streamlining operations to ensure quality patient care and maximize patient satisfaction.
- Oversee staff schedules, workflow and productivity. Oversee all personnel recruiting, training, scheduling, staff meetings, evaluations, administration of disciplinary actions and performance improvement plans.
- Maintain physician/staff/patient relationships conducive to a positive environment. Maintain and encourage efficient and effective communication with all team members.
- Ensure staff adheres to Corporate Compliance Programs, HIPAA regulations and all other regulatory standards i.e. annual employee health requirements, mandatory trainings, certifications, credentialing and licensing.
- Ensure office space, equipment and supplies are provided and maintained appropriately for medical staff, support staff and patient care.
- Work with vendors, hospital system and the corporate office to ensure alignment with strategic operations and systems continuity.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to keep current with health care trends and practices.
- Prepare reports and manage assigned projects as necessary.
Position Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of progressive management experience in healthcare or physician practice.
- Knowledge of health administration practices and procedures.
- Ability to multitask, organize and prioritize functions of a fast-paced unit/practice.
- Effective analytical, evaluation and planning skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills; while maintaining professionalism, tact and discretion.
- Prior experience with EMR / practice management system software.
- Bachelor’s degree with a focus in Health Care Administration or related field strongly preferred.
Working Conditions/Physical Demands
Requires sitting and standing associated with an office environment. Performs complex, occasionally challenging varied tasks requiring independent knowledge and exercise of independent judgment.
Salary : $72,000 - $92,000
